Alora Naturals Carb Block with Phase 2™ is an all-natural, non-stimulant white kidney bean extract. This, in turn, reduces the caloric impact of starchy foods, and also lowers the glycemic index.
The pancreas produces a starch-digesting enzyme called “alpha amylase,” which converts starch into glucose (sugar). Calories from sugar are either burned, by activity, or stored as fat cells, when there is not enough activity to burn them. Phase 2™ binds with alpha amylase, thereby “neutralizing” starch calories and preventing their conversion into glucose, and the ensuing storage as fat cells in the body. Safe, non-stimulant, carbohydrate control produces weight loss by reducing body fat, not muscle. Phase 2 has no known side effects, or drug interactions. Usage Instructions
Clinical studies are based on one 500mg capsule, taken 3 times per day with meals. One gram (1000mg) of Phase 2™ will neutralize the starch calories of one pound of pasta, or one loaf of bread.
