Is it time for YOU to get moving? You know it when you feel it: a sluggishness that doesn't seem to leave you even with another cup of coffee. It's totally normal with the winter dragging into spring in Vancouver, so why not get moving with the Vancouver Sun Run happening on April 23rd? Here's everything you need to know to get moving – and quickly!
Vancouver Sun Run, April 23rd
What you might not know about the Vancouver Sun Run is that is it actually comprised of many different divisions, allowing you to choose exactly where you feel comfortable and allowing a wide variety of Vancouverites to participate.
10K Sun Run
The main event, which is the 10k run, starts at 9:00am on Sunday, April 23rd, and – as Canada's largest 10k road race – tends to attract the most active of participants. The running route for the 10K race could not be more beautiful with the scenic views of Vancouver, starting in the downtown core at Burrard and Georgia, and continuing on the sloped downhill along English Bay towards Stanley Park. The route then takes you across Burrard bridge, winding along Fir Street to join 4th Avenue and continuing up to Cambie Street Bridge for the final stretch back into downtown.
Water stations are provided at numerous locations along the running route as well as music entertainment to keep you going.

2.5K Mini Sun Run
An easier and shorter alternative to the 10K run is the 2.5K mini sun run, which might just be appropriate for the whole family. This race starts earlier than the 10K at 8:00am, and is not a timed race and there is no race-day registration, making it much more leisurely and relaxed.
The 2.5k mini sun run route starts on Pacific Boulevard from the 10K finish line, heading east towards Quebec St, and back onto Pacific Boulevard for the final stretch to the finish line. Register for the 2.5k mini sun run here.
Vancouver Sun Run Wrap Party
It's not just all work and no play, even if you truly love to run. Perhaps the best part of participating in the Vancouver Sun Run is enjoying the wrap party which is hosted at BC Place Stadium. Here, you will be able to truly celebrate your achievements with the party's live entertainment, Kids' Zone, awards' ceremony and free food and refreshments.
There are also options available for corporate teams and youth divisions. For all the details and divisions of the Vancouver Sun Run happening on April 23rd, go here.

I only use this specific Magnesium supplement; it's the best one I've found and is well worth the price. Highly recommend the SAP (I'm using it as prescribed by my naturopath, so I would suggest others do the same, it's pretty potent in comparison to the other Magnesium supplements I've tried).
I was recommended this product by a dermatologist for my Rosacea it has helped my skin in reducing redness and flareups. I use the Rozatrol over top as recommended. Highly Recommend. Its very expensive but you only get what you pay for.
I love this product. It is the best setting spray I have ever used. I have very sensitive skin and it has never caused me any problem. I always buy the refill size because I use it every day over mineral sunscreen powder foundation. Highly recommend
I have hereditary raccoon eyes and if I don’t wear concealer everyone asks “Are you okay?” which is super annoying. I look about 200% healthier if I touch up beneath the eyes with concealer to even out my skin tone. This concealer is fantastic… it’s light, stays put once it’s on, and blends in naturally. Definitely my new go-to. My sister has been wearing it for years and swears by it. I think I’m moving into the same boat.
